Certified Training Programme for Adult Educators in Teaching Digital Skills

Τhe series of free of cost training seminars for Adult Educators focusing on teaching digital skills have been completed. The programme was based on the AdultDigitalUp certified training material that focused on enhancing the capacity of adult educators to integrate and exploit digital tools and innovative methods in their teaching.

The training seminars of the programme were hybrid, covering the following thematic areas:

  • Adult learning and digital skills
  • Teaching design for low-skilled adults
  • Teaching and assessment of digital skills

Learning outcomes

Upon completing their learning (synchronous and asynchronous), participants will be able to:

  • Recognise the specific characteristics of adult learners and identify the key skills that an adult educator should possess.
  • Select appropriate teaching approaches and strategies for teaching adults with low qualifications.
  • Describe the digital skills that 21st century citizens and educators must possess and implement specific steps to enhance their digital literacy as adult educators.
  • Design, implement and evaluate digital skills courses for adults with low qualifications.
